ISTD Grade 1
About The Course
Bharatanatyam Certification course offered by Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance, London, UK. There are a total of six levels of certification.
This is the progressive course after students have taken the Grade 1 exam and Method Book 2. The student is expected to have deepened their dance adavu skills and this is going to be put to test in this grade. We prepare the students
with creative exercises, dance practices, yoga to help them ace the ISTD Grade 2.
Prerequisites
- 2+ year of dancing experience
- Knowledge of Sarali Varisais of the Carnatic music system and ability to sing two Geethams
