About The Course
Has your kid been practicing Bharathanatyam for more than one year? Then it’s time for them to move to Spardha Bharathanatyam Intermediate Grade.
During this course, your child will get expertise in solid form, rhythm study, poses, posture improvement aesthetics and learn three new dances. They also learn some advanced theory including the viniyoga hastas.
Prerequisites
- 2+ year of dancing experience or completed the Intermediate Grade
- Interest and motivation to dance because this grade is highly challenging

- Kudittumettu Adavu
- Egarmettu Adavu
- Tattumettu adavu in Panchanadai
- Drishti Bheda or eye movements and Pataka Hasta Viniyoga
- Advanced poses
- Three new dances
Learning Outcomes You Can Expect
- dance three items - on Krishna, on Lord Vishnu and on Lord Shiva
- recite, dance and demonstrate all the adavus - Paraval, Kuditumettu, Pakka and Tattumettu in Panchanadai
- demonstrate Drishti bheda and Pataka Hasta Viniyoga
- do advanced poses according to individual ability honoring their own body
- be prepared to clear to Grade 1 exam of ISTD, London
