About The Course
After completing the Level 2 Praveshika Pratham course and Method Book 2, your child is ready to prepare for the BSPM Level 3 certification exam - Praveshika Poorna.
In this course, the students will be introduced to the next part of their music journey, which deals with the varieties of Varnas, few Kritis of great musicians and the other vocal patterns in different ragas and talas. Learning
and practicing these Varnas (the phrases & structure of a raga) and Kritis (advanced compositions) will really help the students to improve their knowledge, the style of singing and it brings the interest in students to be
more into music.

This grade goes beyond classical music. Your child also gets the opportunity to learn some devotional songs, folk melodies and nottuswaras, through which they can clearly understand how to modulate their voice and express emotions.

Prerequisites
Students should have completed the Praveshika Pratham course or should be able to sing Alankaras in 3 speeds, Geetams, swarajathis and some of the light carnatic compositions.

- 3 Tana varnas in Aditala
- Compositions in Raga Vasantha, Bilharai, Hindolam, Mohanam, Hamsadhwai, Suddhasaveri and more
- Alankaras in 3 Sampoorna ragas (other than Mayamalavagoula) & 2 Janya ragas
Learning Outcomes You Can Expect
On completion of the Praveshika course, the students will:
- Know 12 swarasthanas, 35 talas, the widely used gamakas, vadi, samvadi, vivaldi, anuvadi, sruthi and nada.
- Sing atleast 7-10 compositions in different ragas and their ragalakshanas in detail.
- Sing 3 Adi Tana varnas.
- Sing alankaras in 5 different ragas in 3 speeds.
