About The Course
After completing the Level 3 Praveshika Poorna course and Method Book 2, your child is
ready to prepare for the BSPM Level 4 certification exam - Madhyama Pratham.
In this course, the students will be introduced to the next part of their music journey, which
deals with the varieties of Adi tala Varnas, few Ata Tala Varnas, few Kritis of great musicians
Varnas (the phrases & structure of a raga) and Kritis (advanced compositions) will really help
the students to improve their knowledge, the style of singing and it brings the interest in
students to be more into music.

Prerequisites
Students should have completed the Praveshika Poorna course or should be able to sing Adi Tala Varnams and few Krithis in popular Ragas.

Learning Outcomes You Can Expect
On completion of the Madhyama Pratham course, the students will:
- Have a good understanding of the biographies of the Trinity, Purandaradasa, Swati Tirunal, Bhadrachala Ramadas, Kshetrajna
- Know 16 swarasthanas, Raga Classification, Melakarta scheme, different musical forms
- Sing atleast 10 compositions in different ragas and their ragalakshanas in detail.
- Sing 5 Adi Tala Tana varnas and 1 Ata Tala Tana Varnam.
