About The Course
Trinity Electric Guitar Grade 7 course is carefully designed to prepare students for the Trinity Electric Guitar Grade 7 exam. It’s a gateway for young guitarists to elevate their playing to an advanced level, mastering a
range of sophisticated techniques and styles.
At Grade 7, your child learns to control sounds with precision, masters tremolo picking, navigates 'galloping' rhythms, and plays with extreme dynamics. The course is structured around a set of three dynamic songs, each extending
over four pages. These songs are carefully selected to challenge and engage your child, helping them to refine their musical understanding and technical skills.
We place a significant emphasis on notation accuracy, ensuring that students understand and appreciate the importance of playing each note correctly. They will also develop a commanding execution of stylistic techniques, enhancing
their technical control and ability to communicate through their instrument.
In addition to mastering these songs, the course includes focused technical exercises, improvisation and interpretation practice, sight reading, and ear training. These elements are crucial in developing a well-rounded musician,
capable of both precise execution and creative expression.
