About The Course
Trinity is one of the oldest and highly reputed music exam boards. If your child has covered the Electric Guitar Method Book 1, and you want them to get an internationally recognised certification from one of the leading exam
boards, then it’s time to start this course.
In this course, your child develops a range of skills and techniques including power chords, rhythm off the riff, melodic playing and chord accuracy for the exam. In the Initial exam, the student is required to play a set list
of three songs. Two of these are from our Initial songbook, including a technical focus (TF) song which focuses on two specific technical skills which run throughout the song.
Our expert and certified teachers help your child master and demonstrate these techniques seamlessly in the performance. The other song can be from our Initial songbook, or can be a song of the student’s own choice, a song that
they’ve written, or a cover version that they’ve arranged.
