Prerequisites
- Ideal age of student - 8 years or above
- Interest in music and learning the instrument + willingness to practice regularly
- Student must have their own Keyboard, so that they can practice and hone their skills
Topics Covered
- Basic elements of electronic keyboard (Keys & Notes)
- Posture and fingers
- Beats, rhythm & time signature
- Concepts like dynamics, slurs, tie notes and dotted rhythms
- Staff notations (Clef, Notes values, etc.)
- Learn songs in Middle 'C', 'C' and 'G' Position
- Chords & basic music theory
Learning Outcomes You Can Expect
- Identify notes on the instrument
- Play basic rhythms and pieces with steady pulse and flow
- Learn staff notations and how to read sheet music effectively
- Master basic touch controls
- Use different rhythm techniques
- Harmonize two-note and four-note harmonies with the use of ties and dotted rhythms.
