About The Course

Do you think your child has what it takes to become a rock star? If they have cleared the Grade 6 exam and have been playing ukulele for 4-5 years, here’s the next step - the RSL Ukulele Grade 7 course.
The students must have mastered the key skills up to Grade 6 and developed notable security of appropriate technique, use of expressive devices, rhythmic complexity, fluency and musical understanding.
In this course, the student learns to improvise with conviction and personality as well as demonstrate strong musical form and structure. Our certified professionals help you prepare for the RSL Ukulele Grade 7 exam with technical exercises, supporting tests and expert guidance with the songs featured in the grade.

Prerequisites

• At least 4 years of experience or have completed Grade 6
• Photographic ID

Learning Outcomes You Can Expect

• Perform a range of ukulele pieces with confidence, expression, and accuracy.
• Develop technical proficiency on the ukulele through a variety of exercises and drills.
• Prepare for supporting tests such as scales, sight-reading, and aural training and demonstrate a well-rounded understanding of music theory.
• Play as part of an ensemble using backing tracks, demonstrating the ability to keep in time and listen to other musicians.
• Create solo arrangements of songs, demonstrating the ability to interpret and adapt existing music to the ukulele.
