Spardha Kathak Method Book 2
About The Course
If your child has been practicing Kathak for over a year, they're ready for the Method Book 2 course! In this course, they'll refine the rhythm techniques, hand movements, and Abhinaya while expanding their repertoire with beautiful new compositions.
The student also learns graceful pieces like Thaat, Aamad, Rangmanch Pranaam, Parans, Tihais, Tatkar (footwork), and Gatnikas — all in Taal Teentaal. They'll also explore devotional Abhinaya through a Bhajan or Shiva Stuti and learn a simple Tarana, bringing together technique, expression, and musicality.
Along the way, your child will build a deeper understanding of Kathak theory and develop the grace and confidence to perform a complete basic repertoire with joy and authenticity guided by our certified, supportive teachers in live, interactive 1-1 sessions.
