Trinity Violin Grade 2

Typically 6-8 months, with the exact pace depending on your practice consistency and class frequency — most students take two classes a week. Sessions are 30 or 60 minutes, in a personal 1-on-1 or family group format.

The Trinity exam typically involves performing prepared pieces plus technical work, with a choice of supporting tests such as sight reading, aural, or improvisation. This course covers all of it — your teacher works through the syllabus with you and runs mock assessments so nothing in the exam room comes as a surprise.

Your teacher guides your camera angle so they can see your bow arm, wrist, and contact point clearly, then corrects in real time — often more precisely than in a group class where one teacher splits attention across many students.

Whatever fits your arm length — violins run from 1/16 up to full size (4/4), and playing the wrong size actively holds technique back. Your teacher confirms your correct size on camera before you buy or upgrade anything.
