Trinity Electric Guitar Grade 5 course is an ideal choice for young guitarists ready to explore advanced techniques and express their musicality in more complex ways.
In this course, your child will practice complex guitar skills. They'll learn unison bends, master the art of counting complex rhythms, engage in intricate soloing, and practice hybrid picking. These techniques help in bringing
depth and emotion to each piece of music.
The core of the course revolves around a carefully selected set of three songs. These songs act as tools to develop your child's playback and improvising skills. We emphasize the importance of understanding music and expressing
it in a way that resonates with the listener.
A unique aspect of the Trinity Grade 5 exam, and thus our course, is the focus on improvisation and interpretation. Students learn to improvise in a specified style over a backing track they haven't heard before, honing their
ability to adapt and create music spontaneously. This is coupled with ear training exercises, where they listen to and replicate short melodic phrases. These skills are crucial for a well-rounded musician, enhancing their
ability to connect with music intuitively.
Additionally, we cover essential technical exercises, sight reading, and ear training, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience. Our course is designed not just to prepare your child for the exam but to foster a deep love and
